Year 5 had a visitor this week: Mr Robinson, a secondary science teacher from Barnsley Academy who had a primary placement as part of his teaching course. Being an avid sound enthusiast, Mr Robinson taught a brilliant, fun lesson on how we hear and then enabled the children to learn from a practical investigation. The children had to make a walkie-talkie from cups and string then test these out. After they had done this, the children wrote a short explanation, drew then annotated a diagram about what they had done.
