RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch

This is something the RSPB ask schools and families to join in with every year to gather data on the number of birds being spotted in gardens and outdoor areas across the UK. In class the children were able to learn about different types of birds we might see and how we can distinguish between different kinds by looking at features such as their beak, feathers, size and bird call. The children were excellent bird spotters and able to be quiet and patient when looking for birds in our school outdoor areas. We spotted a range of birds and enjoyed recording
