Dear parents,
These are obviously challenging times for the country as a whole with cases of Covid-19 rising both locally and nationally. Our priority at all times, however, is to do everything we can to ensure each pupil receives as full and normal a curriculum as possible at home so we can continue to minimise the disruption that the pandemic causes to their education. We do have a number of devices we are able to loan to families should you not have a suitable device to access the remote learning.
It is vital that all pupils continue their learning and do access their online provision every day and following the Remote Learning Timetable. I appreciate the additional responsibility this places on parents and I thank you in advance for your support and cooperation in doing so. Staff will be supporting children and parents with this on a daily basis and class mailboxes will be checked regularly.
Within each year group you can find a Daily sway document with the home learning for that Day for your child. . Each sway document starts with an example timetable to help you plan your child's learning that day with a daily English, maths, reading task and one other task from our wider curriculum.
Class teachers will be posting Daily updates and further instructions for your child, they welcome your feedback and would love to see examples of your child's learning. Please do check back in here regularly as well as the school Facebook page.
You can still contact us on 01226 282549, message us on the Facebook page or email m.kelly@bankend.org
We will keep you updated regularly during the coming days and weeks.
This page will be kept updated with links to resources to enable you to continue learning from home
