A Magical Summer of Reading

Your children are bringing home their summer reading challenge. Reading over summer is critical for children to retain knowledge and skills.

Their challenge is to read 6 books over summer and keep a record in their booklet. They should then bring their completed booklet back to their new class teacher in September to collect a treat AND have their name entered into a raffle to win a set of books (which they will have a hand in choosing). #Amagicalsummerofreading Miss Hardman

Going for Gold

Worsbrough Bank End Primary School is celebrating after receiving the School Games Gold Mark for 2017/18.

The Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress.
