On Monday 4th July we went to Tropical World in Leeds. Here are some photographs of our visit.

On Monday 20th June 2011 Year One went on a trip to Filey. We had a fantastic day and spent time on the beach building sandcastles, we had a competition as to who could build the best sandcastle which turned into a group effort that everybody added to throughout the day. We had also has a paddle in the sea which was extremely cold! Year 2 had a fantastic day in Filey on Monday. We visited the Lifeboat Station then walked back up the beach. We had a picnic then went a group at a time down to the sea for a paddle, which was very cold!!
4th July-Y3 Tropical World Y5 Doncaster Dome – dates to be confirmed soon. Mrs Siddons is arranging a trip to Cannon Hall and will be in touch ASAP
Tropical World has a nocturnal section, a Desert House (with meerkats!), and a jungle section. There are many things to see there, including a vast collection of tropical plants, stunning butterflies and magnificent aquariums. In amongst the plants I am sure we will also find spectacular birds, and even the odd reptile. More details to follow… |
