*This week, year 2 have been creating music to bring a SCARY poem to life! We used instruments to create spooky sounds and then looked at how to record it. We recorded our sounds through ‘graphic notation’. This was so that other people could guess what sounds we were making. We had lots of fun!*

On Monday it was Halloween. We came to school in our Halloween costumes because it was Scary Day. Some of us came dressed up as bony skeletons. Some of us came as wicked witches. A few of us came as red devils and vampires. We all looked really spooky. We had lots of fun in our costumes and we couldn’t wait to write about our Scary Day. We did some scary drama from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, followed by scary multiplication in maths. In the afternoon we wrote rhyming recipes for their own scary potions, based on Act IV Scene 1 of Macbeth. |
