Y4 Costumes and Counting…

Year 4 have been busy rehearsing their song and making their costumes for Bank End’s Got Talent.

This week the children have been working hard and having fun solving maths puzzles and problems.

Y6 Bank End’s Got Talent production

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As you are probably very aware, Y6 are practising hard for their school play at the moment. They are all children working hard to learn all their lines, how to perform in front of an audience and practising their dance sequences during the school day, and as I’m sure you’ve noticed, out of school! So far, the children have really taken the play on board and impressed me with their commitment.

To progress, we have to organise all of the props and costumes. We have had several thoughts about what each character should wear and if I show you who each character is, I hope it would be possible for you to contribute towards getting your child/children kitted out accordingly:

Simon Cowell Daniel Taylor Smart white shirt, long black trousers, smart shoes (school shoes would be fine), black jacket
David Hasselhoff Joe Borrow White Tshirt, jeans, Joe’s trainers, leather jacket (I’ve got this already)
Amanda Holden Megan Woodcock Pretty dress, party shoes (glamorous!), tiara (if wanted)
Dec Josh Christian Bright coloured plain Tshirt red, baseball cap, ¾ length trousers, trainers
Ant Ethan Makinson Bright coloured plain Tshirt green, baseball cap, ¾ length trousers, trainers
Michael Jackson impersonators Connor Cockayne & Steven Yeboah Tightish black trousers/joggers, white socks, black shoes, tight white Tshirt, black cardigan/light coat, a fake beard?
Suzanne Boiler Amy Wilson grandma dress and grandma shoes, black curly wig (I can get this maybe)
A glamorous assistant Claire Marsden Sparkly ball dress (I can get this), sparkly shoes
Remix dance troupe Various Dance clothes (I think these are sorted!)
Low Riders dancers Various Hoodies and baggy jogging trousers with trainers
John Lemon (tramp) Kyran Walker Old trench coat, tracksuit trousers, old trainers/shoes, old shirt, toy guitar
Other props A steering wheel (from a broken toy?) for David Hasselhoff
A black curly wig for Suzanne Boiler
Inflatable swimming ring and armbands for Hasselhoff

Obviously, I don’t want anyone spending large amounts of money, I have been looking in charity shops for such items! If the items could be brought into school as soon as possible, they can be stored safely in school and it would be fantastic so the children are able to visualise the play better.

Thank you for all your hard work and contributions, yours dramatically,

Mr Cooper
