Bank End Library

UntitledDear Parent or Carer

Great news! We are delighted to announce that the Bank End Library will reopen this Friday, 23rd January!

We have a fantastic selection of books to suit all interests and ages, including a wide range of fiction by well-known and popular authors (Roald Dahl, JK Rowling, Michael Morpurgo, Julia Donaldson and David Walliams among others) and non-fiction on lots of popular topics (dinosaurs, sport, biography, science and many others). We also have a wide selection of books for adults, so you can join the library and enjoy reading along with your child.

The library will be open in the school hall on Fridays between 2.30 and 3.00 pm. As usual, you may collect your child from class any time after 2.30 and head to the hall to choose your books. Miss Hanson, Mrs Wood and Mrs Forster will be on hand to offer suggestions, and if there is a book or an author you are interested in that we don’t have, please let them know and we will try to obtain it for you.

There is no charge to join the library or borrow books. However, if books are lost or damaged, we do request payment to cover the cost of replacement.

“It’s great if you can read, but the question is: do you read? If you do, the world is yours!” (Michael Rosen, author and former Children’s Laureate).

We look forward to seeing you at the library on Friday!

Yours sincerely

Ms Blake, Miss Hanson, Mrs Wood and Mrs Forster
