Special Mention

logobankendDear Lucy,

We are really pleased to see you up here today enjoying the limelight in this very special mention.

You really deserve to feel proud of yourself as you are trying so hard to improve in all aspects of school life.

All the staff in Year 4 are noticing how hard you are working in class.  You are focussing well during whole class teaching time and encouraging your peers to ‘have a go’, which is demonstrating an increasing maturity.  You are also taking responsibility for your own learning by completing your homework.

Since we started going for swimming lessons, you have made fabulous progress.   This week, you achieved your 50 metres award and you are working hard to try to achieve your challenge award.

In Guided Reading, you are answering questions using quotes from the text to back up what you are thinking.  This is also a skill that you are using during independent comprehension work.

In Literacy, you have really thought about what you have written.  You have taken pride in your work and thought about the tense.  Keep this up! You are re-reading your work and checking that you have used the correct punctuation and that your sentences are making sense.

We know that we can trust you to keep on trying your best and feeling that fantastic sense of achievement!

Keep on trying your best Lucy!  We are really enjoying seeing you mature, smile and shine!

Best Wishes – Mrs Thorpe, Mrs Kirk, Miss Harrison and Miss Wawrosz
