e-Safety workshop

esafetylogo2Dear Parents and carers

We wanted to take this opportunity to say how very much we have enjoyed working with you in the craft club and in the reading workshops. To build on our working relationship we would like to invite you to a very special workshop in relation to eSafety. We recognise that as parents and carers you are the primary educators of your children; as we travel through the 21st century keeping our children safe online becomes an increasing challenge. We would like you to join us to develop strategies to help manage online behaviour, to keep our children safe, now and in the future.

The workshop will run from 3-4pm in the school hall on Wednesday 19th February

As part of the work with the children on this subject we will be running a survey about online habits, and I will be able to share that information with you in the workshop.

In addition, we will be investigating important aspects of eSafety such as:

  • Security settings/parental controls
  • Social media/online gaming and the pitfalls for children
  • How/where to find help

I do hope you will join us, as together we can continue to support your children in being safe, productive and happy online users.
