Happy New Year

On behalf of all the staff here at Bank End Primary School, we would like to wish all our children, parents, carers and families a very happy 2014!

We hope that the children had a fun and exciting Christmas break; they have certainly come back to school raring to go. We have a very busy half-term ahead of us with all classes starting work on a new and exciting topic as well as continuing to develop their skills in reading, writing and maths.

In our year groups we are busy learning about lots of exciting creative themes:
In Early Years our youngest learners are taking a Journey into Space, this should prove to be really exciting!

In KS1 the children are learning about the Jurassic Forest

In LKS2 the children are studying a village in India called Chembakoli

In Y5 the children are learning all about Australia and finally, Y6 will be exploring Africa.

We have lots going on this half term and we ask that you support us by getting your children to school on time so that they can really make the very best of every single learning opportunity.

Thank you for your continued support!
